Large and with a gray mass of hair, flying squirrels add to the general ambience with their chittering as they leap and glide through the air. They are known for eating gumpf stalks and using their droppings to line their nest. They can sometimes be found hitching a ride up the Great Tree on one of its winched platforms.

The most precious resource of Silvyra, the Elixir is a paste created by Runners from unique recipes. Its creation is a gift given generations ago by Mother, the Great Tree, and it is a potent remedy for ailments, both spiritual and physical.
The formal name given to the ingredients a Runner chooses and combines to create their own unique batch of the Elixir of Life. The Runners go through the Maze and into the realm to collect eight ingredients that have special meaning to them, one being the petals of the Cerulean Rose, and typically the final combination is written down on a ceremonial scroll.

A large, mobile plant in Silvyra. It grows in the Maze that guards Mother, curling its leaves around unworthy trespassers and pulling them in a deadly embrace.
Part of the vegetation of the Great Tree, galaxy seeds bloom at the same time every night. When they do, it produces an unmistakable crackle. The seeds form into spiraling star systems, falling like snow over Mother’s branches before exploding with tiny pops to sow their magic.
The primary food source for the flying squirrels. They eat the stalks and use their droppings to line their nests.
Nests of hissing thistles are found in the Maze in Silvyra and can cause severe flesh wounds.
A plant in the Maze’s jungle mass. Its bucket-like flower can snap down at unworthy visitors, closing in its petals in a firm grasp to throw the trespasser away.
An important ingredient in Pianna D’alatra, a Silvyran delicacy comprised of salted leaf wraps with the most divine frosted center baked in Pianna nectar.
Sprite leaves can be roused to unfurl into glowing, ethereal strands. They are notoriously stubborn, but if successful, these strands are often hung as decorations.
A sweet plant from the realm of Silvyra. Little clouds of sugarweave are sometimes used as decoration on glory bakes.
A carnivorous plant with a bell-shaped flower with thick petals that are sticky on the inside. It is one of the dangers in the Maze, easily swallowing multiple persons and lulling its victims to sleep with the perfume of its pollen grains.
